Every day we are tempted to buy many new things. Every day we see newer and better models of the electronic items that we already have. But it is this temptation to buy the latest gadgets because our neighbor or our colleague has one, which steals the precious hard earned money from our pockets. But this has to be controlled and your precious hard earned money and savings are to protected. Keep reading to know how.
The first thing that you need to do is decide between what stays in your house, your cellphone or the landline. After all both the things serve the same purpose and why should you have two things doing the same job? By simply removing your landline you can expect to save at least $50 a month. Again, by properly choosing your cellphone rentals and scheme, you can save at least $50 on your bill.
Another area in your life where you can drastically reduce your bill is internet connection. Bid goodbye to that high speed internet connection if all you do is surf the internet, use email services and play games. Buy a CD and play games as much as you want. Also if you rarely logon to the internet, you don’t even need t pay the rental every month. There are plenty of local libraries and other public institutions where you can use internet for free.
Turn off that idiot box and get rid of the cable channel connection. Spend the time with your family members, do some yoga, play some game or do anything worthwhile rather than sitting in front of the idiot box changing channels. In some time it is expected that you will have to pay for only those channels that you watch. It is perfect for those of you who watch just two or three channels regularly.
You should also cancel all those magazine subscriptions that you don’t even read except for in the bathroom. Rather borrow books and magazines from the local library if you really want something to read in the loo. You can save hundreds of precious dollars each year in magazine subscription fee by cancelling them.
By just eliminating a few easily avoidable things in our everyday lives, we can easily save thousands of dollars and use them in better ways and to bring peace and financial security in our lives once and for all.
